Innovation
The Innovation SIG provides a cross-disciplinary forum for researchers interested in advancing knowledge and understanding of the nature, processes, practices, and outcomes of innovation. The SIG intends to meet its obligations to BAM by providing value to the wider academic community with an interest in innovation studies.
About the SIG:
The Innovation SIG aims to encourage and support collaborative networks that offer a safe space for early career and senior researchers, academics in general and PhD students make a significant contribution to the field of innovation. It seeks to bring its members together to discuss current scholarly issues in the field and identify new research agendas, while supporting members with capacity building events.BAM2024 Conference
The Innovation SIG Track had a fantastic programme with high quality full papers and developmental papers presented both online and in-person. New and former members provided insightful feedback and strengthened various collaborative networks. Huge thank you to all colleagues who presented their work, chaired sessions, and attended the events. You can find below some photographs of our sessions - if you would like to share yours on this page, please send an email to Patricia Prado with the photos.
We would like to encourage you to share your paper success with us, following your presentations at BAM. And if you have presented a developmental paper this year, we invite you to present a full version in 2025. As mentioned by Dr Patricia Prado in her presentation (see photo below), "the feedback I received last year during the discussions about my developmental paper were very insightful and helped me advance that work into a book chapter forthcoming) and into the full paper I'm presenting this year".
