The BAM Management Consulting Network and the Centre for Management Consulting Excellence. are pleased to welcome Dr Steve Gibbs to lead this interactive workshop in which he will discuss how to operationalise the strategy process and “do strategy properly”.
It will cover both the complexity of the strategy process and how leaders are supported in its practical delivery, acknowledging the very unique realities of individual organisations. This will be an interactive workshop, with space for group dialogue.

After 26 years in publishing and logistics industries, the majority at senior executive level, including eight years as Managing Director, Dr Steve Gibbs then completed a 16-year career as a full-time academic lecturing in strategic management and leadership.
He now supports executive development, specialising in strategic dialogue, governance, complexity, growth, strategic change and productivity. He has a PhD in strategic leadership and an Executive MBA, both from Lancaster University Management School.

Karol is Associate Director of CMCE; he has 30 years’ experience as a management consultant and was also a Professor at the University of Silesia School of Management, Katowice, Poland.

Jeanette is an Associate Lecturer at the Open University. She recently completed her PhD entitled “Management Consultants Navigating Competing Systems of Engagement” a study of how management consultants experience and manage the competing demands of their client, consultancy and personal life. Prior to entering Academia Jeanette was a practicing Management Consultant with a global firm for fifteen years. This followed a career in Retail Banking where Jeanette held a number of Senior Management roles in customer sales, service and the formulation of retail channel strategy.
