Guest Speaker
Professor Nicole Coviello
Professor Nicole Coviello received her PhD in Marketing and International Business from the University of Auckland. She also holds an MSc (Technology Management) and BComm Hons (Marketing) from the University of Saskatchewan. In 2010, she received an honorary doctorate from the Turku School of Economics (Finland). Nicole was appointed the Lazaridis Chair in International Entrepreneurship & Innovation in 2020. She also holds a Visiting Research Professor appointment at LUT University, Finland.
Nicole has held academic appointments in New Zealand (University of Waikato, University of Auckland) and Canada (University of Calgary, Wilfrid Laurier University). Her various visiting appointments include positions at Hanken (Vaasa, Finland), Turku School of Economics (Finland), University of Glasgow (Scotland), University of Canterbury (NZ), and the Technical University of Munich (Germany).

Prof. Antonella Zucchella is a member of the Italian Academy of Business Studies, of the Academy of International Business Studies, of the European International Business Academy, of EURAM. She is also member of the editorial Board of International Business Review, Journal of Management and Governance, Journal of International entrepreneurship, European Research on Management and Business Economics, International Journal of Export Marketing, Baltic Journal of Management.
Antonella's research focuses on international business and international entrepreneurship. She has published papers in prestigious journals such as the International Business Review, Journal of World Business, Multinational Busines review, Journal of Institutional Economics among others.
Dr Marianna Marra
Dr Marianna Marra is a Reader in International Business and Innovation at the University of Sussex Business School. She is the Chair of the IB/IM BAM SIG and the Co-Chair of BAM 2023 Conference. Her work has been presented at international conferences such as the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, Academy of International Business, and Druid conference. Part of her work has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Corporate Finance, Work Employment, and Society, International Business Review, International Journal of Production Economics, Annals of Operations Research, and International Journal of Production Research.
