Webinar synopsis
As many academics have already discovered for themselves, it is increasingly difficult to manage work-life boundaries since Covid-19 and in this 24/7 connected global world. Prof Ellen Ernst Kossek will share some brief research on work-life experiences of faculty. Then workshop participants will take a workshop assessment designed to identify the pros and cons of their style, their fit of their own preferences for managing the work-life boundary with others, and the importance of boundary control and will use the results of this assessment in a workshop format to develop strategies for effective boundary management in breakouts.

Prof Ellen Ernst Kossek
Ellen Ernst Kossek (Ph.D. Yale University) is Basil S. Turner Distinguished Professor at the Purdue University. One of the pre-eminent scholars in work-life research in the world, her research has many awards, and she speaks globally on these issues. She is a Fellow in the Academy of Management, APA, & SIOP.
