As many academics have already discovered for themselves, it is increasingly difficult to manage work-life boundaries since Covid -19 and in this 24/7 connected global world. Prof Ellen Ernst Kossek will share some brief research on work-life experiences of faculty.
As many academics have already discovered for themselves, it is increasingly difficult to manage work-life boundaries since Covid-19 and in this 24/7 connected global world. Prof Ellen Ernst Kossek will share some brief research on work-life experiences of faculty. Then workshop participants will take a workshop assessment designed to identify the pros and cons of their style, their fit of their own preferences for managing the work-life boundary with others, and the importance of boundary control and will use the results of this assessment in a workshop format to develop strategies for effective boundary management in breakouts.
