The BAM Entrepreneurship Research Conference 2025

Staged by the BAM Entrepreneurship (ENTR) Special Interest Group

The British Academy of Management - Entrepreneurship Special Interest Group Research Conference 2025, hosted IN-PERSON by the University of Leicester School of Business, University of Leicester, serves as a premier gathering for scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students to discuss contemporary entrepreneurship practices, theories, challenges, disseminate research findings and explore synergies within the field of entrepreneurship.

This is the second BAM SIG Entrepreneurship Conference, following on from the success of our event in 2024. The aim of the conference is to build on the success and to encourage and promote entrepreneurship research among academics at all levels and practitioners, entrepreneurs.

Papers in progress and complete research papers will be considered for the conference with the opportunity to receive valuable comments from the sessions facilitators and the entrepreneurship community part of the audience. Different tracks will be created based on the topics and volume of papers received. Please see below for more details.

The conference will aim to invite a talk from a Senior scholar in the entrepreneurship field and also an editor from IJMR, which would be very beneficial to all attendees, and particularly early-careers and PGR student, to understand what a good literature review is and how to publish literature reviews
