We are happy to inform you that the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode announces the 5th edition of the International Conclave on ‘Globalizing Indian Thought (GIT 2024).’ This year, we are excited to expand our global reach as the conclave will be conducted in London from 24-25 October 2024.
The conclave’s focus is India's significant contributions to the world, encompassing knowledge systems, culture, and management. With a history spanning thousands of years, Indian knowledge systems offer diverse perspectives on society, the cosmos, and human nature. Traditionally linked to Westernization, globalization can greatly benefit from Indian philosophy. India's innovative systems, traditions, and intellectual heritage position it to lead in addressing the globalized world's dynamic future, reflected in Indian management and leadership.
Indian culture emphasizes harmony, community, and spirituality, deeply ingrained in its customs and management ideas. The principles of Satyam (Truth), Nityam (Sustainability), and Purnam (Wholeness) can profoundly impact the world, positioning India as a change agent through sustainable and life-revering leadership.
The conclave offers a platform for inquisitive and keen thinkers across professions and vocations to deliberate on the ageless Indian ideas converging into a plethora of creative platforms. The event will be a unique one which will bring together prominent experts from academia, industry, policy and governance, social sector from all over the world.
The Conclave invites submissions around the following tracks (but not limited to*):

- Family Business and Entrepreneurship
- Climate Change and Sustainability
- Culture in Management
- Doing Business in Emerging Markets
- Bridging the Digital Divide
- Changing World Order: Role of the Global South
Submissions includes Extended abstract / Working paper / Idea in brief / Case Studies.
*Submissions also invited in regular tracks like Strategy, OB, HR, Marketing, Finance, Economics etc.
