BAM and Partner (ANZAM, IAM & SIMA) Collaborative Research Grant Schemes 2025 guidance documentation available now
The next funding round for BAM and Partner Grants is now open.
The British Academy of Management (BAM), together with the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM), the Irish Academy of Management (IAM) and Società Italiana di Management (SIMA) are pleased to offer the BAM and Partner Collaborative Research Grant Schemes.
These schemes are part of BAM’s mission to build a thriving, pluralistic research community by supporting relevant, ethical and innovative management and business research.
BAM & Partner Grants (maximum £4,000 to £6,000 – details to follow):
The schemes are aimed at supporting and advancing international research collaborations between management researchers in Australia or New Zealand (ANZAM), Ireland (IAM), Italy (SIMA), and the UK. They seek to support the development applicants who are at an early stage in their careers, defined as being awarded a doctorate within 5 years of the point of application to the scheme. Established researchers are also eligible to apply but they must clearly explain their role in the work and in developing the skills of early career researchers. The scheme is open to all ANZAM, IAM and SIMA and BAM Members; non-members wishing to apply to the scheme can join either ANZAM, IAM, SIMA or BAM as appropriate.
At least one investigator must have their primary employment at an academic institution in Australia or New Zealand (ANZAM), Ireland (IAM) or Italy (SIMA), and another investigator must have their primary employment at an academic institution in the UK (BAM) to ensure collaborative research between the countries with fieldwork or research being required in both the partner region and the UK.
