The deadline for the BAM Research Grant Schemes (Transitions 1 & 2 and MKE) 2025 is Thursday 27th March 2025 at 17:00 GMT. Please register your application on the BAM Grants Portal now if you are planning to apply for one of the Schemes.
About the BAM Research Grant Schemes:
These schemes are part of BAM’s mission to build a thriving, pluralistic research community by supporting relevant, ethical and innovative management and business research.
- Transitions 1 Research Grants (up to 2 projects up to £6,000 each) for researchers with a doctorate who are early in their career (5 years post-doctorate at the time of applying) and wish to develop an empirical research project that advances business and management scholarship and improves their research capacities
- Transitions 2 Research Grants (up to 2 projects up to £6,000 each) for researchers with a doctorate who are more established in their career and wish to develop an empirical research project that advances business and management scholarship and develops their research capacities in an empirical or intellectual domain.
- Management Knowledge and Education (MKE) Research Grants (up to 2 projects up to £6,000 each) - for researchers with a doctorate, or equivalent research experience, who want to conduct a research project that informs scholarly debate around management knowledge and education
Updated Timeline:
- Monday 25th November 2024 – Word application form and call documents available. Register your application on the BAM Grants Portal now
- Thursday 27th March 2025 at 17:00 (UK time) NEW DEADLINE for applicants to submit applications in the BAM Grants Portal
- Thursday 3rd April 2025 at 17:00 (UK time) Deadline for nominated Heads of Department/Schools or other institutional approvers to approve the application in the BAM grants portal
- The earliest project start date is October 2025 and the latest project start date is December 2025.
