The British Academy of Management (BAM) together with the Irish Academy of Management (IAM) and Società Italiana di Management (SIMA) are pleased to announce the 2024 Grant Holders following the third funding round for Collaborative Research Award Grants. These grants are part of BAM’s mission to build a thriving, pluralistic research community by supporting relevant, ethical and innovative management and business research.

The 2024 Grant Holders are as follows:

BAM and IAM Collaborative Research Award (maximum £4,000 for 1 project)
  • Dr Emma Beacom (PI), University College Cork (Ireland); and Dr Sinead Furey (Co-I), Ulster University (UK) - Development and management of social supermarkets (SSMs) in the Republic of Ireland: Knowledge exchange from Northern Ireland counterparts

BAM and SIMA Collaborative Research Award (maximum £4,000 for 1 project)
  • Prof Giovanni Pino (PI), University of Chieti-Pescara (Italy); Dr Jason Sit (Co-I), University of Portsmouth (UK); and Dr Shynar Dyussembayeva (Co-I) University of Portsmouth (UK) - Investigating the nature and effectiveness of ‘clean’ labels
