Luigi M. De Luca, Co-Editor in Chief
Pietro Micheli, Associate Editor

Aim

The goal of the workshop is to develop ideas and working manuscripts with the aim of later submission for review at Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM).

Format

The workshop will feature presentations and breakout sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to present their projects, work in small groups to develop their ideas, and receive feedback from other participants as well as JPIM’s Editors and Associate Editors.

Selection process

To participate, Authors need to send an extended abstract of no more than 10 pages (double-spaced), including figures, tables and references. The extended abstract should outline the intended contribution, research questions, research design and methods of your manuscript. On the cover page, please include names and affiliations for all co-authors.

We welcome submissions of manuscripts at any stage of development, as long as they address relevant research topics in the domain of innovation management. In line with JPIM’s mission, we are open to interdisciplinary research and welcome all types of methods.

Due to the limited number of slots, submitting an extended abstract does not guarantee participation.

How to apply

Please submit your extended abstract to [email protected] no later than May 16th, 2025.

Authors will be notified within one week from submission. More details on the PDW logistics (venue, accommodation, agenda, etc) will be shared after acceptance.

To increase sustainability and accessibility, participants from the UK and neighbouring locations will be prioritised, other things being equal.

Practical Information

The workshop will be held at Warwick Business School. There is no participation fee. The workshop will run for a full day (9am-5pm). Lunch and refreshment will be provided. Participants will have to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
