Professor Peter Buckley FBAM appointed as Professor of International Business at Alliance Manchester Business School

Professor Peter Buckley FBAM, has been appointed as a Professor of International Business at Alliance Manchester Business School.

Peter Buckley OBE was a founding Director of the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds, and today is a Fellow of numerous academies including the Academy of International Business, the British Academy of Management, the Royal Society of Arts, the European International Business Academy, and the Academy of Social Sciences.

He was made an OBE in 2012 for services to higher education, international business and research.

Peter has published more than 250 refereed articles and 28 books (and edited 20 more) that have had almost 56,000 Google citations, while during his career he has also carried out consultancy assignments for central government, local government, international bodies (including UNCTAD) and leading companies. 

Professor Buckley will begin his new role at Alliance Manchester Business School on 1 August 2023.
