The 2024 summer edition of the SIMA-SIM-BAM SCHOOL OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY is approaching!
The summer school will take place once more from 17th to 20th July in the picturesque setting of the Certosa di Pontignano (Siena) .
Summer School Theme: An introduction to Python, network analysis and machine learning
The recent diffusion and proliferation of (new) technologies and the demand for digital skills pushed us to choose this year's theme, giving shape to three immersive days in which theory and practice intersect.
A faculty of 5 scholars will provide the fundamental tools on the following topics:
- – Complementing Python with ChatGPTPython (Gian Piero Cervellera),
- – Digital Network Analysis (Alessandro Caliandro and Ilir Rama),
- – Machine learning to investigate complex systems (Michele Tumminello)
- – Computational Text Analysis in Organization and Management Theory (Simone Santoni)
The School is open to 30 young Italian and international scholars (PhD students, post-docs, junior researchers).
