Two BAM Members Awarded Prestigious British Academy Leverhulme Research Grant
Professor Shuang Ren (Queen's Business School, Queen's University Belfast, co-Editor-in-Chief of British Journal of Management) collaborating with Dr. Soumyadeb Chowdhury (TBS Business School, Toulouse, France) have been awarded the prestigious British Academy Leverhulme Research Grants for the project – ‘Legitimising digital sustainability through stakeholder communication’. This project will introduce legitimacy to the forefront of digital sustainability discussions and develop a theory-informed, evidence-based model that illustrates how organisations can build digital sustainability legitimacy through effective and persuasive communications with stakeholders.
This multi-disciplinary collaboration between QUB and TBS reflects BAM’s strategic aim of delivering research that matters to our key stakeholder communities as organizations are increasingly facing unique challenges by new forms of digitalization. This collaboration also embodies the spirit of cross-border synergy. Leveraging diverse perspectives and innovative approaches, the project will guide organisations in navigating the complex digital labyrinth that is not only sustainable but also deeply rooted in moral and ethical foundations.
